This mod for Doom offers a much bloodier and more polished experience than the original, especially when it comes to shooting.
There's more blood on the walls and on the bodies of enemies in Doom, but that's not why the gore level has increased. Additionally, bullets can be used to tear people apart or be used to shoot people in the head. Your enemies will also die in new ways when they die now.
It was by default not possible to shoot with the mouse in Doom, but that has been changed. The best part is that all of the guns have been redesigned so that none of them are significantly better than the others. A sawed-off shotgun is best used at close range, while a machine gun is best when there are many enemies.
In Brutal Doom, you can play all the original levels but with more blood, more fun, and better graphics.
