The Venison Flavored Whiskey that tastes like the plants and animals that can be found in New Hampshire in the fall, especially deer meat. We got our red deer venison from a farm in New Hampshire. We chopped the meat by hand and mixed it with juniper berries, green peppercorns, cranberries, and porcini mushrooms. The meat is fermented overnight to bring out its delicious gamey flavor. It is then slowly smoked over a mix of seasoned branches from New Hampshire's boreal woods.
A 3-year-old white wheat whiskey gives the whiskey its lighter body, which lets the truly unique flavoring shine through after the last distillation in our rotating evaporator. This one-of-a-kind spirit has savory and smoky notes, as well as a light spice on the palate and a long end.
